DTC Workshop 1

A group of nine, including PI Dr. Derek Paley, and four members each from the University of Maryland and the UAV Research and Operations Center, represented the RoboScout team at the DARPA Triage Workshop 1. The workshop took place at Guardian Centers in Perry, GA, which contains multiple indoor and outdoor facilities designed for simulation of battlefield and other disaster scenarios. This event was not only a great opportunity for running UAV and UGV operations in a scenario akin to the upcoming Year 1 competition, but also for collaborating with DARPA staff and the other teams in attendance to navigate challenges related to human safety and operational efficiency.
